From the first moment when „hip anti-hipster“ tom2k called a USB Keyboard his own everything seemed to have changed. Absorbing the impressions of his various trips around the world from Panama to Vancouver and Agadir to Istanbul he creates soundspheres beyond imagination, without actually drifting into awkward world music genres. Murdering basslines, crazy flipped samples and all played out drums – these are his trademark styles.

A big influence on him has always been his crew Allez Bestimmt die Mäuze (ABM089), that has been digging and producing underground avant-garde hiphop and electronic music since years. Being a part of various different scenes as a critic, friend and fan throughout his youth he enjoyed influences from various musical directions such as punk rock, hardcore, hip hop and electronica.

Finally having found his home within the beat scene he is now stepping up as a produce, promoter and liveact. Bringing fresh artists into his hometown Munich alongside the boiler team he is currently trying to augment the city‘s perspective on hip hop and experimental electronic music.

This is just the beginning, so watch out for this cat in 2011!
