Wow, time goes by fast. We’ve reached Boiler Session #10! And we’ll celebrate this one hard. Our guests this time: Taprikk Sweezee and Michael Fakesch!

Taprikk Sweezee is a vocalist from Berlin now living in Hamburg, Germany. He put out two EPs lately, the Conversa EP and the Poly EP which was released on his own label called zoikmusic. Working together with producers like Busy (US), E.A.R.L. (Netherlands) and HBO (France) he can offer a wide array of styles & influences without ever losing his very soulful touch. Michael Fakesch is a producer originally from Rosenheim who has been a player in the electronic music scene for a long time now. Having created forward thinking IDM since the early nineties as one half of the infamous duo Funkstörung he gained world wide attention with releases such as Appetite for Destruction and Disconnected. His project with with Taprikk, whom he teamed up with a few years ago, offers another interesting blend of his portfolio. Check out their collabo releases such as “Escalate” released on Michael’s own label Musik aus Strom for some impressions.

The two of them will perform a live electronic/acoustic session at the Blumenbar, so come along and enjoy some soulful electronica with us. Here’s a little live video snippet to further draw a picture of that night!
