Quite some time has passed since our last show at the Import/Export in August with Mike Gao. Thus we are glad to announce our comeback for coming Saturday the 21st of January, where PHON.O from Berlin will join us for the 17th edition of our boiler clubnight.

And this guy surely is one to look forward to. Having been around the scene since the 90ies he clearly left his mark in electronic music not only in Germany, but worldwide. Having released for labels such as Cytrax, Shitkatapult, Boyz Noize and Monkeytown/50WEAPONS, he travelled the world back and forth, playing shows where ever his way led him. Also definately worth mentioning are his collabo projects: The Bareback Show and CLP with Chris de Luca of Funkstörung. Definately a busy man.

In this decade, PHON.O concentrates on new solo tracks, remixes and his residency at the WMF Club in Berlin. To get a glipmpse on the PHON.O sound of 2011/2012, you might wanna check out his mix for Resident Advisor. It was part of an in-depth coverage on Modeselektor’s 50WEAPONS imprint.
